Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students. Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school.

If you are not in our school zone, you are welcome to submit an Application to Enrol in a Victorian Government School Form.
Applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:
- students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time;
- all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.
Hard copy enrolment forms can be collected from the school office, alternatively email enrolments@truganinasouthps.vic.edu.au to request a copy. Once the forms are completed, please book in a meeting to finalise the enrolment process and submit the required documentation.
Required documents
To finalise an enrolment the required documentation includes a completed Enrolment Form with copies of the following documentation:
- Proof of Residency - Documents provided as per the 100 point residential address checklist. Documents need to show the full name of the child’s parent/carer including current address. Any combination of the following documents is acceptable as long as it adds up to at least 100 points:
- one of the following: Council rates notice OR Lease Agreement OR exchanged contract of sale
(40 points);
- any of the following: Centrelink payment statement OR electoral roll statement (20 each);
- any of the following documents: electricity or gas bill, water bill, telephone or internet bill, driver’s licence or government issued ID, home building or home contents insurance or motor vehicle registration or compulsory third-party insurance policy (15 points each).
- School Entry Immunisation History Statement Immunisation Status Certificate
- Any Court Orders (if applicable).
- Visa Documentation (if you are not an Australian Resident).
- Evidence of identity and date of birth (for example, a birth certificate or passport).
You will also be required to provide information about:
- your contact details
- emergency contact details
- health information about your child (such as allergies or illnesses they need to manage)
- other legal orders relating to your child and their welfare (if any).
